Toboe is a wolf, seen by all animals as a wolf (they don’t see his human form) and seen by humans as a 14 year old boy. Since he doesn’t look old enough to be three, I went with two years old, meaning that he is 14 in his human’s look.

| Toboe ("Howling") is the youngest of the group, often acting more like a puppy than a wolf. Toboe was raised as a pet by "Granny", an elderly woman, whom he accidentally killed in an unrestrained act of playfulness when she was feeding him. The silver bracelets are all he has left of her. The pup also mentioned that she was the one to take him in the moment he was born, and it's believed that he left towards Freeze City after that, following Cheza's scent. This was actually complicated for him because he had not capability to survive alone, being attacked by crows and even cats, which he came to hate. Toboe maintains an affection for humans that none of the other wolves can understand (with the exception of Blue). On one occasion Toboe saves Quent from freezing to death in the snow by sharing his body warmth with him, and is later grateful to discover that Quent has survived despite the fact that Quent immediately tries to shoot him; he has also shown the desire to stay with the human Indian tribe, Mon-tribe, not only because he felt that he was no good for his own group, but also because he did enjoy this harmony between humans and animals. Toboe was "young and inexperienced", he also acted as the go between for the other three, giving them a buffer or a bond as needed. He suggests that the other wolves keep him around because they view him as a kind son. Even if he hasn't fully developed survival skills, he seems to have the best hearing out of all of them, but also is a good fighter if needed. To add, Toboe also seems to know to to heal wounds either by licking them or by using herbs for the effect. Toboe looks up to Tsume and usually follows him when the group splits up, but this doesn't happen all the time. He often is more shy than bold, although when the pack is in dire threat his rage can stand beyond his timid nature and propel him ravenously into battle. An example of this is when the pack are crossing an ice floe and are attacked by a giant walrus; At first, Toboe is frozen in fear, but when it seems that the others are about to be killed Toboe suddenly attacks the walrus himself and manages to defeat it despite almost drowning in the process. Though he still acts like a puppy in some ways, the others now consider him an adult, and a valuable fighting partner. Toboe is a sweet, naive and innocent wolf. He is easily spooked or startled and he hates to be alone and looks for friends constantly. Toboe doesn't like fighting either, whether you're a wolf or human, so he tries to keep peace within the pack. Also, he can't STAND to see someone cry. It makes him really sad. He always tries to cheer someone up even if he's not able to. He's also innocent in adult matters, like females, not understanding much why Hige loves them to much or what Tsume meant by Kiba having grown up when he found one. PARADISE When the world reaches its end, a Paradise will appear somewhere and, only wolves will know where it is, guided by the Lunar Flowers. The Paradise is a world dominated by the wolves and every wolf is born desiring it. Mon-tribe: A long time ago, when humans were animals, there were also evil monsters. The Earth Mother sent wolves from Paradise to Earth. The wolves killed the monsters, fought evil and taught the ignorant and selfish animal-humans a great deal. Then, the wolves created humans from a part of their bodies. This happened when the world was created. If the wolves have set out for paradise, the time has come for this world to collapse. It's not known if it's because the wolves set out for Paradise, or if the Paradise sets out for them. But when paradise is found, everything in this world will vanish. No one knows what will happen when the world ends, no one knows what will happen to those who don't reach Paradise. The Lunar Tome: A forbidden book written by the Noble Darcia the first, it was the beginning of Darcia Clan, with a collection of the most advanced alchemy at the time and the research the noble did. All of it was a mean to get to Paradise, by creating a Lunar Flower with human form, that would be the guide to Paradise. He was the one to create a kind called Flowermen and only Cheza was the true masterpiece. In the book is mentioned the Legend of the red moon - the great God gave birth to wolves and they are his messengers, and wolves gave birth to mankind. When the world is ending, the moon will turn red and die, and the wolves will once again go back to Paradise. DARCIA CLAN Those who were said to be cursed after Darcia the First disappeared into "Paradise", and due to his grandfather's curse, Darcia the third is now plagued with the eye of a wolf. Along that, a disease also appeared, which took Darcia the third's lover, Hamona. It's called the Paradise disease- in which her soul is "taken by Paradise", causing her to fall into a coma and her heart is forever bound to paradise. Darcia Family had a resort called Aerial, where they created Lunar Flowers and Flowermen, and where Cheza was born. The Noble Oakum stole Cheza in order to remain in power and gave it for the scientists on Freeze City, like Cher, for them to study; though there was no actual information since it remained all within Darcia's castles. THE NOBLES Long before the world was what it is, people put civilization into full bloom using an extraordinary alchemy, that would open doorways to the stars, and even the gateway of time and space. But it all disappeared in one flicker of time. It's unknown what happened but most of the people disappeared, and the remaining mysteries of alchemy came to be possessed solely by the nobles, while the rest of the people were left in the dark. This happened 200 years ago, when wolves became extinct. CHEZA Cheza was created in Aerial city, on Darcia the first's laboratory where they used to create Lunar Flowers and Flowermen. She is a crystal of alchemy, called the Flower's maiden that was born from the Lunar Flower, later stoled by the Oakum Clan and given to a lab, in Freeze city. Her first response is to wolf blood, in a desperate and mournful way that makes wolves feel such sadness and pain within their hearts and ears that they can't take it. But she calls for the wolves and the wolves call for her, for her scent, knowing deep inside that she is the guide to Paradise. Like a flower, she needs water and sunlight to eat - she absorbs - but also like a flower, she has short lifespan (considering that she is 200 years old, it's believed that by short its meant to be that she isn't eternal). Moonlight gives her power, but she can't absorb Full Moon's life too many times, and during the full moon Cheza will dance and Lunar Flowers will grown, showing the path to Paradise. Cheza is blind, like any flower, yet she can talk to animals and plants giving her a sence of directly and what's going on around her. She is able to wake up wolves who don't know who they are - Blue - and to make wolves fall asleep into a delicious dream by just singing. An old Flowerman also told her she has the ability to extend a Flowermen's life. One last power she has is healing power and the fact that all of her is, like Toboe said, irresistible for wolves. WOLVES They are said to be extinct for 200 years, and says the legend they are God's messengers, when they were once worshiped. The world was divided into a world which the humans see, and a world that has been lost somewhere in time. All animals know of it. These animals can talk to other animals and humans. Yet, while humans see something different, ALL animals see the wolves how they really are all the time. Wolves deceive human’s eyes; they DON'T transform into humans, they simply deceive them. A wolf - and its show to us that actually other animals too (like Myu, a cougar) - can appear as a human when a human looks at him; it's a way to keep hidden, to defend themselves, but it doesn't mean it's an actual human form. Their shadows, their footprints always remain as their forms, though humans never seem to notice it. Few humans are actually able to see this. They also seem to be able to read, which isn't that weird considering that humans were born from wolves. At the full moon, like the Flower's Maiden Cheza, they gain their powers, feeling excited, and blood boiling, like they can do anything. Around Cheza they felt that even more; Cheza makes them feel excited, happy, hot, they find her irresistible like they are in love, and above all, when they are petted, they sound like puppies begging for more. To add, these animals have a super strength, more than any regular wolf; their stamina and resistance is also incredibly huge, and they may have been shot once or twice, but they keep on going and quickly recover. They jump higher than any normal human (several buildings), they are able to make agile attack movies, and obviously they have a wolf's earing and olfactory sense, adding their eyes. They don’t change his clothes; since it’s a disguise the wolves use, the clothes are always the same, all the time. When they fight, the clothes get dirty and may even rip and get ruined, but after they recover from the fight the clothes get back to normal. It’s to be added that they CAN “take them off” if really necessary (to treat wounds, for example); by this I mean that his upper part may disappear when needed, but you’ll never find it on the floor next to the wolf – it just disappears and appears again when he is recovered. Also, in their human form they do take bathes with his clothes on. Humans can understand him, either when he is in his human disguise or when he is in his wolf form – it won’t matter. When talking in their wolf form, the mouth doesn’t move. ETERNAL GARDEN Myu is presented as a cougar who tells about a place where no one cares who you are and where everyone can be free. It's a world where time as stopped. It's not paradise, it's actually a place you go to when the animal's soul gets lost. People feel peaceful and relaxed there. This is Eternal Garden, for those who rest/die on Desert of Bones. But soon it's seen that is a lie; they start forgetting who they are and fall into eternal sleep and everything stops there. Myu is dead, along with the Hollow that followed. |
